Responsibilities & Scope of Work Product Catalog Expansion: Upload, format, and configure new commercial furniture pieces and product variations (collaborating with manufacturers like Kimball International, HON, AIS, SitOnIt, KI, Patterson Pope, MooreCo, and Ecologic Furniture). Attribute & Category Management: Ensure all furniture listings include accurate descriptions, high-resolution imagery, proper categorization, tags, and downloadable assets (spec sheets/catalogs if applicable). WooCommerce & WordPress Maintenance: Troubleshoot checkout flows, update plugins/themes safely, optimize page load speeds, and fix any layout or mobile responsiveness issues. Performance & SEO Optimization: Improve site performance, ensure clean URL structures, and implement best practices for on-page SEO. Ongoing Support: Act as our go-to developer for troubleshooting issues, minor design tweaks, and routine site updates as they arise. Required Skills & Experience Proven experience managing and developing WordPress and WooCommerce websites. Strong background in managing large e-commerce product catalogs with extensive variable products and attributes. Familiarity with commercial furniture, interior planning, or B2B e-commerce structures is a strong plus. Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and meet deadlines.
