Starshipit Configuration Audit & Optimisation Specialist

Less than 1 month, Less than 30 hrs/week We're an Australian ecommerce business using Starshipit as our shipping platform, integrated with WooCommerce. Starshipit suits our needs well as a platform - it's highly customizable - but our current configuration has never been professionally reviewed, and we're seeing real issues: incorrect shipping quotes at checkout (particularly tied to box/parcel sizing) creating downstream problems for our team and customers. We're looking for a genuine Starshipit expert to audit our existing setup, identify what's misconfigured or suboptimal, and help us fix it - not to recommend switching platforms. This is a configuration/optimisation engagement, not a migration project. Scope of work: Review our current Starshipit configuration: parcel/box size setup, weight rules, carrier rate rules, automation rules Identify the specific cause(s) of incorrect shipping quotes appearing at checkout Review our WooCommerce ↔ Starshipit integration for any misconfiguration or gaps Recommend and help implement fixes to parcel sizing, rate accuracy, and automation rules Provide a clear, documented explanation of what was wrong and what was changed, so our team understands the fix going forward (not just a black-box repair) Work alongside our website support person (who owns day-to-day site/platform management) to hand over a properly functioning, documented setup Required experience: Proven, hands-on Starshipit configuration experience - not just general shipping/logistics knowledge Experience specifically with WooCommerce integrations Experience diagnosing checkout rate/quote accuracy issues tied to parcel dimensions and weight rules Comfortable explaining technical configuration issues in plain terms to a non-technical business owner Nice to have: Experience with Australian carriers (Australia Post, Couriers Please, Aramex) and international carriers (FedEx, UPS) Experience with multi-carrier rate rule setups To apply, please include: A description of a Starshipit configuration issue you diagnosed and fixed for a past client - particularly around parcel sizing or rate accuracy Your approach to auditing an existing setup you didn't originally build Your availability (this is intended as a focused audit/fix engagement, with potential for ongoing support afterward if it goes well)
