More than 6 months, 30+ hrs/week We're an Irish B2B web & outreach agency (WDI) looking for an agency or senior team to become our ongoing WordPress partner: building new client sites to our spec under our brand, and managing our existing portfolio. Long-term monthly relationship, not project work. Two halves to the role: BUILDS (the part we're pickiest about): - New client sites from our briefs/designs — Irish SMEs: trades, construction, professional services - Fast, clean, modern builds: proper mobile, 90+ PageSpeed on mobile as the norm not the exception, sensible plugin discipline (no 40-plugin bloat), forms that work and land in inboxes - You can work from a Figma or reference site without hand-holding, and you flag scope questions early rather than guessing - Typical volume: 1-3 sites/month depending on our sales pipeline MAINTENANCE (the part we're strictest about): - Weekly per site: core/plugin/theme updates with a verified restorable backup BEFORE updating, uptime/load checks, live form tests (actually submit, confirm delivery) - Monthly: speed scores, broken links, security scans - Every check logged in our shared tracking sheet, new row per check — if it isn't logged, it didn't happen - Same-day escalation of anything broken or suspicious; we'd rather ten false alarms than one missed hacked site To apply, include ALL of the following: 1. Three WordPress sites you built in the last 12 months — live URLs. We will run PageSpeed on them and click around on mobile. Choose accordingly. 2. Your update-day process for maintenance, step by step, in your own words 3. One maintenance issue you caught before the client noticed 4. Pricing: (a) typical build cost for a 5-8 page brochure site from a supplied design, (b) monthly per-site maintenance at the scope above, and how it changes at 15 vs 25 sites 5. Your response-time commitment for a site-down event Applications missing any of the five points won't be read. We start with a paid trial: one small build + maintenance on 2 sites for a month. Full portfolio and build pipeline follow if the trial's clean. We care more about never having to redo your work than about the cheapest bid.
