SCORM eLearning Course Developer

Less than 1 month, Less than 30 hrs/week Only freelancers located in the United States may apply. We are looking for an experienced eLearning developer to help improve and rebuild our internal training courses. Our current courses are housed in Zoho Learn and need to be converted into polished, professional SCORM courses for use in Ninth Brain. The right person should be comfortable taking existing documents, presentations, videos, quizzes, and written materials and turning them into complete online courses. This may include improving course flow, creating professional layouts, adding appropriate interactions or knowledge checks, and building final assessments when needed. Experience with Articulate Rise, Storyline, Adobe Captivate, iSpring, or a similar SCORM authoring tool is required. The completed courses must work properly in Ninth Brain, including completion tracking, scores, bookmarking, and pass/fail reporting. The contractor must have their own computer, software licenses, authoring tools, and any other equipment needed to create, test, and deliver the SCORM files. We will not provide software licenses, development equipment, or authoring tools. The course topics will include medical education, workplace safety, HR policies, employee onboarding, and internal procedures. Most of the core information already exists, but the content will need to be reviewed, organized, and presented in a way that is clear, engaging, and easy for employees to follow. Because some of the material may involve medical, safety, HR, or policy-related information, the freelancer must be careful not to change the meaning of the content. Any unclear, inconsistent, or potentially outdated information should be brought to our attention for review before being changed or finalized. All course content, source materials, internal processes, medical information, policies, procedures, training materials, and other information provided for this project are proprietary and confidential. The contractor may not share, reuse, publish, distribute, disclose, display, or include any portion of our materials or the completed courses in a portfolio, sample, case study, website, social media post, or marketing material without our prior written approval. A nondisclosure agreement may be required before access to course content is provided. The contractor must only use materials, graphics, images, icons, audio, video, fonts, templates, software outputs, and other assets that they either personally created, properly licensed, or have the full legal right to use for this project. The contractor may not include any third-party material that would create copyright, licensing, attribution, royalty, usage, or ownership issues for us. If any third-party assets are proposed, they must be disclosed in advance, and the contractor must confirm that our company will have the right to use them permanently as part of the completed courses. Final deliverables should include: Completed SCORM packages ready for upload and use in Ninth Brain; Editable source files for each course; Any graphics, templates, media, or supporting assets used in the courses; Quiz, assessment, and interaction files, if separate from the course source files; and A list of any third-party assets used, including license information if applicable. All materials, work product, course files, layouts, graphics, wording, assessments, interactions, source files, SCORM packages, and supporting assets created, developed, modified, or delivered as part of this project will become the sole property of HV Health and Safety upon payment. The contractor agrees that all rights, title, and interest in the completed work product will be assigned and transferred to HV Health and Safety, including the right to use, edit, copy, upload, distribute internally, revise, maintain, and create future versions of the courses without additional permission or fees. Healthcare, medical, EMS, workplace safety, HR, or compliance training experience is strongly preferred. We plan to begin with one paid pilot course. If the work is a good fit, this may lead to a larger project involving several courses. We are open to hourly pricing, a fixed price per course, or pricing based on the finished course length. Requirements By accepting this project, the contractor must agree that: They will keep all HV Health and Safety materials confidential; They will not reuse or display our materials or courses without written permission; They will not include unlicensed or unauthorized third-party content; They will disclose any third-party assets before using them; They will provide editable source files and final SCORM packages; and All rights in the completed work will transfer to HV Health and Safety upon payment.
